Dr Huffman is Lead Pastor at the Midway Baptist Church in Leesburg, Florida. His messages are currently broadcast on the Internet, Radio and through Podcasts.
Pastor Jerry and Carol were married in March of 1998. They met while Dr Huffman was a Pastor in Kentucky. They have been on their journey together through great joys and deep sufferings. In 2010, Carol was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer and given only days to live. But God graciously healed her and she is a blessing to all who know her. She is an artist and lover of horses. She enjoys playing golf and pickleball.
In addition to being a Pastor, Dr Huffman spent 23 years in Law Enforcement. He worked the streets for several years and then served in training. First, on the streets as a Field Training Officer and then full-time at the Training Academy. He was awarded as the "Instructor of the Year" in 2004. He retired as a Supervisor in Basic Training.

His Doctor of Ministry degree at Luther Rice Seminary in Atlanta, GA and Master of Divinity at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, TX. He earned the Bachelor of Science degree at University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, KY and studied Classical and Hellenistic Greek at Baylor University in Waco, TX. He also earned Criminal Justice hours at Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, KY and has over 3,000 hours of Law Enforcement Training.
